Tom Anderson has been on the Fire Board since November 2018. I work full time as
the administrative supervisor for AMR Canon City. I have been with AMR for 29 years
and have been providing EMS for the past 36 years. I was a Fremont County Sheriff’s
Deputy for five years and an Emergency Manager for five years. I have a bachelor’s
degree in public service, and a master’s degree in business. I have been married for 28
years, have three kids, and nine grandkids.
I got on the fire board to give to my community. I believe it is important to be involved in
the community, and with my experience and education I felt this would be a good fit. I
strive to make sure that the fire district is ran in an efficient and effective manner.
